Focus: Using Technology to Explain How to Work World Problems
Unit Title: Using Technology to Present How to Work Word Problems
Grade Level: 2nd Grade

Duration: 2 to 3 days
Goals
Problem: My second grade students are having difficulty with multi-step word problems and determining what operation to use to solve the problem. Students need to recognize steps used to solve multi-step word problems. In order to help my students have successful learning experiences, students will work in collaborate groups to create a presentation. The presentation will include the steps needed to work word problems, and it will include word problems created by the group. Students will have to present and explain their project to the class.
Technology Standard: Conceptualize, guide, and manage individual or group learning projects using digital planning tools with teacher support.
